What to have ready
- Facts about each person in your household.
- Income for each person: jobs, self-employment, and other money coming in.
- Any other health insurance you have.
- For the new rules: your work, school, or volunteer hours for the month before you apply, or the reason you don't have to meet the rules.
What happens next
- OHP checks its own records first, like payroll and school records.
- If OHP can confirm everything, you get a letter with its decision. It is called a Notice of Eligibility.
- If OHP needs more, you get a letter called a Request for Information. You have 35 days to reply. How to answer a letter

- Check the OHP income limits chart PDF.
- OHP Bridge covers adults with income just above the OHP limit. Members pay nothing.
