This page explains what to do if OHP says no or your coverage ends.

The short version

Apply again

You can apply again any time. OHP looks at the month before your new application.

If you meet the rules now, or a reason fits you now, you may qualify. Take the 1-minute check.

Ask for a hearing

A hearing is a way to challenge OHP's decision. Your letter says how to ask for one and the deadline.

When you ask, you can also ask to keep your benefits while you wait for the decision.

Public Benefits Hotline

Run by Legal Aid Services of Oregon and the Oregon Law Center.

Call 503-241-4111 or 800-520-5292.

Income limits apply. Hours change, so check their hours before you call. People in Jackson County are sent to a different office.

Disability question? Ask Disability Rights Oregon for help.

Other coverage

You can look at private health plans at OregonHealthCare.gov or call 855-268-3767.

Heads up

If OHP turned you down because of the work or activity rules, you may not get help paying for a Marketplace plan.
